Islamic schools on the rise after revolution in Tunisia

Religious schools in Tunisia are spreading throughout the country for the first time in over 20 years.

Banned under long-time President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, overthrown in January 2011, the new madrassas now offer lessons in Islamic studies.

Some Tunisians see the introduction of the establishments as one of the achievements of the revolution, but others are concerned about extremism.
