Escaping poverty with the art of magic

In 2004, in South Africa, a magic show arrived in one of Cape Town's townships Khayelitsha.

It was a day that Olawetu Dyantyi, then a 10-year-old boy, would never forget.

He went home and taught himself how to juggle using stones.

He progressed onto golf balls. And once he had mastered the art he took the hour long journey to Cape Town's College of Magic.

Focus on Africa's Nomsa Maseko went there to meet him.
