Queues to vote in Ghana elections

Voting is continuing in parliamentary and presidential elections in Ghana, which are seen as a model for democracy in Africa.

Polls closed at 17:00 GMT, but officials said anyone still waiting would be allowed to vote. There have been complaints of delays and long queues remain in some areas.

A tight race is expected between President John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo in the new oil producer - one of the world's fastest-growing economies.

Akwasi Sarpong reports from Accra.
