Algeria crisis is 'top priority'

Algerian special forces are still hunting the Islamist gunmen who took hundreds of workers hostage at the In Amenas gas plant on Wednesday.

State media in the country says hundreds of hostages have been released but some 30 foreign national workers remain unaccounted for.

After an emergency meeting on Saturday morning, UK Foreign Secretary William Hague said the crisis would remain "top priority" until every British national was accounted for.
