Algeria hostage brother: 'I learned of Kenny's death on Facebook'

At least 48 hostages are now thought to have died in a siege at an Algerian gas plant.

Bob Whiteside says he learned of his brother Kenny's death from Facebook, after a colleague in Algeria posted a message.

His death has since been officially confirmed.

Bob Whiteside was speaking to the BBC's Andrew Anderson in Crieff, Perth and Kinross.
