Egypt protesters defy Morsi curfew

Thousands of demonstrators have been on the streets of the Egyptian cities of Suez, Port Said, and Ismailiya in defiance of a curfew imposed by President Mohamed Morsi.

Hundreds of soldiers have been deployed.

Mr Morsi announced the month-long state of emergency and curfew on Sunday to tackle violent protests that have now killed more than 50 people.
