UN made DR Congo problems 'worse' says Rwanda's Paul Kagame

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has issued a scathing assessment of the United Nations peacekeeping force in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He told the BBC's Komla Dumor that the 20,000-strong force, which was first deployed nearly 14 ago, had not only done nothing to address the root causes of Congo's problems, but had in some respects made them worse.
