Africa's first wheelchair tennis Grand Slam champion

Lucas Sithole is the first African to win an International Tennis Federation wheelchair tennis Grand Slam award after his victory in the US Open quads.

The South African beat David Wagner, a wheelchair tennis player from the US in the final at Flushing Meadow.
