'Mandela was a saviour', says apartheid era minister
South Africa's former foreign minister Pik Botha has described Nelson Mandela as the country's "saviour".
Mr Botha was one of the best known political figures of the apartheid era, serving for 17 years from 1977 until the first democratic elections in 1994.
Later he was appointed as a minister in Mr Mandela's government of national unity.
He spoke to the BBC about his memories of the late president.
