DR Congo repels 'terror attacks'

The Democratic Republic of Congo's army has repulsed several attacks in the capital, Kinshasa, by an "unknown terrorist group", the government says.

Spokesman Lambert Mende Omalanga said action had been taken to "preserve at any price" the government and the "structures of government".

He said at least 34 of the assailants were killed in the attacks.
