Oscar Pistorius trial: Neighbour 'heard a fight'

A woman living close to South African athlete Oscar Pistorius heard "a fight" on the night of Reeva Steenkamp's death, a court has heard.

Speaking through a translator, Estelle Van Der Merwe - whose face can not be shown by the media - said she later heard four sounds which she described as "bang bang".

State prosecutors allege the killing on 14 February 2013 was premeditated, but Mr Pistorius claims he mistook his girlfriend for an intruder.
