Oscar Pistorius trial day 11 - in 60 seconds

The Oscar Pistorius trial has heard from a firearms specialist who testified that the athlete had a good knowledge of the rules on gun use and dealing with intruders.

Police crime scene photographer Bennie Van Staden, who took photos at the South African athlete's home following his girlfriend's death, was the second witness.

He undid some of the defence's claims about contamination of the scene, a BBC correspondent says, by indicating items were photographed before being moved.

The athlete denies murdering Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013, saying he mistook her for an intruder.
