Guinea Ebola outbreak 'very worrisome'

The outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in the West African country of Guinea is "very worrisome," according to a virus expert.

UNICEF said at least 59 of the 80 people infected with the disease had died and the virus appeared to have spread to the capital, Conakry.

The deadly haemorrhaging fever is spread by close contact with infected people or objects.

Virus expert Dr Charles Chiu told BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night: "Ebola has no successful treatment... so the main way to prevent the spread of this outbreak is going into isolation."
