Pistorius trial day 20 - in 60 seconds

Oscar Pistorius faced another day of intense cross-examination at his trial on Friday - and said he "was in a panic" in the moments before he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

The South African athlete also told the court in Pretoria that she did not scream or shout as he grabbed his gun or as he fired the weapon.

Mr Pistorius, 27, denies murder saying her death was a terrible accident. He admits killing Ms Steenkamp but says he fired his gun after mistaking her for an intruder.
