UN: Crimes against humanity 'being committed in South Sudan'

The UN's Commissioner for Human Rights has warned the crisis in South Sudan is on the verge of catastrophe after a three-day visit to the country.

Navi Pillay said thousands of child soldiers had been recruited on both sides in the conflict - and warned it was vital for the international community to stop the leaders of the country and the rebel forces from blindly dragging their people down a path of self-destruction.
