Burundi's President Pierre Nkurunziza hints at third term

There has been an increase in political tension in Burundi in recent months over moves by the government to try to change the constitution.

The ruling party wants to allow President Pierre Nkurunziza to seek a third term in office. The opposition says this would upset the country's delicate ethnic balance.

Burundi is still healing from a 12-year civil war between Hutu rebels and the Tutsi-controlled army.

In an interview with the BBC's Prime Ndikumagenge, Mr Nkurunziza hinted that he might seek a third term - despite opposition complaints that this would be unconstitutional.
