Taking a ride on Kenya's cashless matatu

Matatus, combi taxis, tro-tros - if you have had to travel round an African city on the cheap, you have probably used one of these minibus taxis.

Their reputation has not been the best, but from Tuesday, that may change in Kenya, as its matatus go cashless.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) hopes it will help to tackle corruption and increase government tax revenue.
