Oscar Pistorius trial: Defence case finishes

The defence team in the trial of the South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has brought its case to a close.

His lawyer, Barry Roux said he had finished calling witnesses to testify.

But he added that some of them did not want to testify because of the intense publicity surrounding the case.

The Olympic runner denies intentionally killing his girlfriend on Valentine's Day last year, saying he mistook her for an intruder.
