World's rarest bird 'on brink of extinction'
The world's rarest bird is on the verge of extinction unless a new home can be found for it, according to conservationists.
Only 25 Madagascar pochards have survived at one remote lake in the north-east of the African island, due to the destruction of their natural habitat.
A study by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust suggests the lake does not have enough food for the young ducklings.
