Why is the Pistorius sentence taking so long?

Oscar Pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide over the shooting of Reeva Steenkamp in September.

However the judge, Thokozile Masipa, is taking some time before passing sentence.

The former Olympic and Paralympic runner could face up to 15 years in jail, but Judge Masipa could suspend it or impose a fine.
