Kenya bus driver 'tried to speed away', says passenger

The driver tried to speed away from militants who killed 28 people in Kenya, but his bus got stuck in the mud, one of the surviving passengers has said.

Gunmen then shot, at point bank range, anybody who could not recite extracts from the Koran, Ahmed Mahat told BBC News.
