Morocco's music scene: Clash of new and old

BBC Radio 1Xtra's DJ Edu is on a journey to find the Best Nightclub in Africa, as part of the BBC's A Richer World season.

Here he goes to Morocco, where he learns about the clash between a thriving nightclub scene and more traditional values.

Janatte Haddadi embodies one of those clashes. As a female music manager she's experienced sexual harassment from those believe that it's not a role for a woman.

But there are also those who are traditionalists in a different way, delving into Morocco's rich musical culture and history rather than trying to be the next Justin Timberlake.
