Ebola outbreak: Sierra Leone starts national lockdown

Around six million people in Sierra Leone have been told to stay indoors for the next three days as the government there tries to stop the spread of Ebola.

There is a two-hour exemption on Friday to allow Muslim prayers and a five-hour window for Christians on Sunday.

Dozens of new cases are still being reported every week, though Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea have all set a target of having no new cases by the middle of next month.
