Protests in Burundi after president seeks third term

At least one person has been shot dead in clashes between police and protestors in the Burundian capital, Bujumbura.

Police have been firing tear gas, water cannon and live ammunition.

The demonstrators accuse the government of staging a constitutional coup after the selection of President Pierre Nkurunziza to run for a third term in office.
