Zimbabwe's great-grandmother on going to university

Despite her age, Hatifare Munongi is just a few months away from fulfilling a life-long ambition in Zimbabwe.

The 76-year-old great-grandmother has been reading for a degree in sociology and gender development since 2013 and is due to graduate in November.

Married at 21, she has three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was unable to further her education once she got married and spent 50 years working as a teacher before retiring in 2006.

She now wants her story to inspire others to pursue their educational dreams - and prove that it is never too late to learn, as she has been telling the BBC's Steve Vickers.
