Tanzania Election: Magufuli stands as CCM presidential candidate

Tanzania's ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party has named Works Minister John Magufuli as its candidate for this year's presidential race.

The CCM has ruled Tanzania for five decades and Mr Magufuli is widely expected to take over from President Jakaya Kikwete, who has served his maximum two terms.
