President Obama's Kenyan uncle on promise of future

US President Barack Obama arrives in Kenya on Friday for his first visit to his father's homeland since his trip as a senator in 2006.

It is the first visit to the country by a sitting US president, and a chance for Mr Obama to build on his legacy there.

Some in Kenya and across Africa may have been disappointed by what the president has achieved for the country and continent during his time in the White House.

But Barack Obama's uncle, Said Obama, says he believes that his influence across Africa could be far more widespread once he casts off the constraints of presidential office.
