Oscar Pistorius released from prison a day early

The South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been released from prison, nearly a year after being jailed for the manslaughter of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

He was released on parole a day earlier than expected and will spend the rest of his 5-year sentence under a form of house arrest.
