BBC crew help rescue trapped calf
South Africa is facing one of the worst droughts to hit the region in 30 years.
While correspondent Nomsa Maseko and her crew were visiting Thuse Kalane, a farmer in Free State province, one of the worst affected areas, they found a calf trapped in thick clay, too weak to pull itself out.
They had little choice but to put down their belongings and help Mr Kalane rescue the animal.
