Re-inventing African food for Londoners
Duval Timothy, Folayemi Brown and Fodio Todd started The Groundnut as a supper club in South London, serving up their own unique recipes and cocktails alongside old favourites like mandazi and plantains.
Following the success of their pop-up dinners, they wrote a book and got published by one of the biggest British publishers, Penguin.
The BBC’s Peter Okwoche met them in a South London market in to find out more.
BBC Africa is running a special week of radio and TV programmes about African food in Europe from 14-18 December.
