What Afropunk says about identity

Afropunk, a celebration of alternative black culture and fashion, is going global.

The music festival began in New York several years ago and was held in London over the weekend. There are also plans for the festival to go to South Africa next year.

BBC Africa's Mayeni Jones joined the London revellers, who felt the Afropunk gathering was also a chance to raise questions about black British identity.
