Tunisia protests continue on the seventh Arab Spring anniversary

There were fresh protests and rallies in Tunisia on Sunday, the seventh anniversary of the ousting of President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali.

They argue conditions have not improved since Ben Ali was deposed as president at the start of the so-called Arab Spring uprisings.

President Beji Caid Essebsi has promised housing and medical reform, as well as more money for the poor, in response to anti-austerity protests this week.
