South Africa’s Olympic surfer Bianca Buitendag: 'Standing up on a wave feels like flying'

South African surfer Bianca Buitendag retired from active competition after winning a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, when the sport made its debut.

She spoke to BBC Africa about her illustrious career which started when she was a teenager and what needs to be done to make surfing an accessible sport in Africa.
