Queen P: Rwanda's first female barista

Perpetue Mukamusinga - also known as “Queen P” - is Rwanda’s first female barista.

But Perpetue is not just brewing coffee, she’s trying to stir up the whole industry. She educates coffee farmers and baristas in the country in an effort to improve the quality of every cup of coffee served to customers.

Since 2021 she's trained 110 women, 6 of whom have since opened their own coffee shops.
