Nato supply trucks inflict damage on Pakistani roads

Until it was closed six months ago, the Nato supply route running through Pakistan to troops in Afghanistan brought prosperity to many.

But the roads that bore the weight of the heavily laden trucks making their to the troops have deteriorated rapidly - especially around Peshawar.
