Afghan Taliban leader's defiant Eid message

Eid al-Fitr celebrations - which happen at the end of Ramadan - have been marked in Afghanistan by messages from the country's president as well as the leader of the Taliban.

While President Hamid Karzai asked rebels to admit responsibility for the recent surge of violence in the country, the Taliban leader Mullah Omar encouraged his supporters to continue their campaign against foreign troops.
