Afghan President Hamid Karzai expels US special forces

The Afghan President, Hamid Karzai, has ordered US special forces to leave a province in central Afghanistan, following allegations of torture and disappearances.

The United States military said it would not comment on the decision until it had discussed the claims with Afghan officials.
