Delhi rape accused death: Investigation under way

A suspect in the abduction, rape and murder of a student in the Indian capital, Delhi, has been found dead in prison, his lawyer has confirmed.

Police say Ram Singh hanged himself in Delhi's Tihar jail, but defence lawyers and his family suspect he was murdered.

Ram Singh was one of several men accused of the brutal attack on a student in Delhi in December 2012.
