South Korea raises alert with North to 'vital threat'

The South Korean government has raised its surveillance alert level amid fears the North is preparing for a missile test.

It is not the first time North Korea has tested medium range missiles during a period of tension.

But sources say the difference this time is that the missile is new, untested, and ready for launch.
