Chinese tourists told to improve behaviour

A top official in China has urged Chinese tourists to behave more politely when travelling abroad.

Wang Yang, one of China's four vice premiers, said the uncivilised behaviour of some tourists, including spitting and talking loudly, was harming the country's image.

He blamed their poor "quality and breeding".
