Pervez Musharraf indictment charges 'fabricated'

The charges Pakistan's former President Pervez Musharraf is facing over the 2007 assassination of Benazir Bhutto have been "fabricated", his lawyer has said.

Afsha Adil said that there was no evidence to support the charges and she was confident Mr Musharraf would be cleared.

Prosecutors said he was charged with murder, criminal conspiracy to murder and facilitation of murder of the former PM and opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.
