Dennis Rodman in North Korea for second visit this year

Retired US basketball player Dennis Rodman has arrived in North Korea for his second visit this year to meet leader Kim Jong-un.

North Korea's Vice-Minister of Physical Culture and Sport, Son Kwang Ho greeted Mr Rodman on the tarmac of Pyongyang airport.

The trip comes days after the North Korean authorities revoked a visit by a US envoy, seeking the release of Korean-American Kenneth Bae.

Mr Rodman said he was not there as "a diplomat", but as a "friend of the country of North Korea".
