Pakistan earthquake victims desperate for help

At least 348 people have died in a powerful earthquake that struck in the remote area of Awaran, south-west Pakistan.

The earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, created a new island off the coast and has flattened entire villages.

Doctors, rescue teams and aid workers are struggling to reach survivors and local hospitals are running out of medicine and food.

The Pakistani government has been criticised for their response to the disaster.

Alpa Patel reports.
