Bangladesh strike: At least three die in clashes
At least five people have been killed in clashes between police and protesters across Bangladesh at the start of a 60-hour general strike.
The opposition BNP party called for the three-day shutdown over demands for a caretaker government to oversee the general election, due in January.
But Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her critics disagree over the composition of the interim administration.
