Typhoon Haiyan: HMS Illustrious on Philippines aid mission

Crew members on board HMS Illustrious are preparing for the journey to the Philippines to help survivors of Typhoon Haiyan.

The ship is currently docked in Singapore and being loaded with 500 tonnes of supplies, including rice and water containers.

Commander Phil Hally has been telling the BBC's Jonah Fisher about the extent of the aid operation.
