Chengdu was the final stop of the British Prime Minister David Cameron's visit to China, and it's a city famed for its tongue-burning cuisine.

Packed with Sichuan peppercorns, the hotpot is an oily brew that packs a punch. The BBC's Martin Patience risked his tonsils to take a taste.
