Cambodia garment workers killed in clashes with police
Cambodian police have opened fire on garment workers protesting in the capital Phnom Penh, killing at least three people and injuring several others.
Eyewitnesses say police fired warning shots in the air and then fired at the crowd.
A police spokesman said they intervened after nine policemen were injured by stones and slingshots.
The protest is part of a nationwide strike demanding the doubling of the minimum wage to of $160 (£97) a month.
