Malaysian couple charged for smacking their children in Sweden

A Malaysian couple have been charged in Sweden for allegedly smacking their four children.

Corporal punishment is banned in Sweden but in Malaysia caning is still allowed in schools.

The case has sparked a debate in both countries about what parents should and should not be allowed to do to punish their children.
