Abdullah Abdullah upbeat in Afghan presidential race
One of the favourites in the race to become Afghanistan's new president, Abdullah Abdullah, has told the BBC he feels his camp is "doing well" as votes are counted following Saturday's landmark poll.
Speaking to David Loyn, Dr Abdullah said he did not want to predict the outcome but that he was "feeling confident".
He also said he supported the idea of a second round of voting if none of the eight candidates achieved more than 50% of the vote, as the Afghan constitution states.
