S Korea ferry: Transcript shows confusion over evacuation

The last communications between the South Korean ferry that sank on Wednesday and traffic services reveals panic and indecision among the crew.

BBC World's David Eades summarised the latest transcript of the conversations between Sewol crew and the South Korean coast guard.

A crew member asks: "If this ferry evacuates passengers, will they be rescued right away?".

The ferry's captain has since said he delayed evacuation for fear people would drift away.
